Longer time for slow maturing wine. Only if storage is needed more than 6 months after purchase. Longer time for wine in almost airless bottle. All Port suits as party wine!
But the better (and dearer) the company - the better wine is needed!

Best producers of quality Port:

Tawny / Colheita: Burmester; Cálem; Cockburn; Dow; Ferreira; Fonseca; Kopke; Krohn; Niepoort; Ramos Pinto.

Traditional L.B.V: Churchill; Ferreira; Niepoort; Smith Woodhouse; Warre.

Single Quinta: da Agua Alta (Churchill); do Bomfim (Dow); do Panascal (Fonseca); Malvedos (Graham); do Passaduoro (Niepoort); do Vesuvio (Symington); de Vargellas (Taylors) and Quinta de la Rosa.

Vintage: Cockburn; Croft; Dow; Fonseca; Graham; Niepoort; Quinta do Noval (Naçional); Smith Woodhouse; Taylor; Warre.

Aged White: Barros; Casa de Santa Eufemia; Churchill; Kopke.
